Arraial Ferreira Neto – Birdwatching

This is the perfect trail for Birdwatching. You’ll go along the salt fields in the Arraial Ferreira Neto area (an old fisherman town), considered one of the best places to watch birds in the Algarve.

You can, not just watch a huge variety of birds through the trail, but also see up close how the salt industry works in a more traditional way.

Additionally, as a part of this trail you’ll be able to see the Forte do Rato (Rato Fort) and the emblematic city walls built by D. Sebastião in the 16^th century.
